In 1984 Dino Capelletti & Laura Venditti began working together in Grottammare, Italy creating a prestigious photographic studio. Foto Studio Immagine specializes in Social Photography (Weddings & Portraits). Through their combined talents and professional dedication, they produce fresh, innovative and original work that is in great demand.
Their photographs may be soft or sharp, romantic or passionate, but always spontaneous in capturing the special moment.
Dino and Laura discovered photography from their innate passion for figurative art and they have been driven by the need to transmit their feelings and emotions through this visual medium in order to bring their creativity to life. Their individual personalities and skills compliment each other so that their work has become distinctive and widely appreciated.
For many years they have been involved in the organisation of professional meetings and workshops and they have always fought for the proper recognition of photography as a skilled profession. Together with twenty other Italian colleagues, they became the founders and promoters of “Artesia”, an Association of social-artistic photography born out of the desire to awaken debate and to educate public awareness in terms of creativity and quality of photography.
Dino & Laura are also tirelessly involved in organizing photographic exhibitions, publishing books and catalogues and creating a photographic archive of images of local landscapes and historical events.
In 2005 they became members of both the prestigious UK Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers & British Professional Photographers Association (SWPP & BPPA) and the USA Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
Dino was presented with two awards as best “Overseas” (International) Photographer in both the Weddings and Landscapes categories by the SWPP & BPPA (Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers and The British Professional Photographers Association).
Laura achieved the status of Qualified Italian Photographer (QIP) from “Fondo Orvieto Fotografia” in 2008.
